Nothing that I'm writing here is new but apparently, readers like author videos: According to what I've read, videos are a powerful way an author can directly greet readers. They're shareable: YouTube-based videos, in particular, are super-easy to spread across social media. I did use YouTube.

And you came to this page, dear reader, to see my videos. Sorry to say, they're not too exciting as of yet. I got the "open box video" idea from another author I follow and I liked the idea - although he does a much better job of it than I did. But the truth is I'm a little camera shy.

I did a local television interview a few years ago along with another author and I was basically terrified. It wasn't so bad at first but when they faced that giant round shiny black camera eye  at me sitting on stage, and the red light said - "ON AIR"  that was it. Terror hit and it was difficult for me to get through the interview.

I'm getting better about it though. And please return anytime to see if I've gotten over myself and my cursed shyness. Please note - if you live in Florida, I'm trying to line up a book signing at the B & N Store in the Villages Florida. I'll post that soon so you can meet me in person. Better than a video anyway.

BTW when I get a box of my books it's not something I have much control over. I only have a vague clue as to when my books are going to be released and it takes a bit of time after that to get an order to my office from my publisher. From there I do book signings and take them to Comi-Cons.
