Every Word Counts
They say blogging is really a no-brainer for fiction writers becuase we're already storytellers but blogging wasn't THAT easy for me. At first was horrified at the idea of all this public sharing but blogging doesn't just reach friends and family, its a gateway to the world — where I can engage people on a different level. Not that my friends care that much about my blog, becuase typically, I blog about science fiction. Once in a while I also take the liberty of sharing a few personal stories, which honestly I did realize that as an author, can be a nice way to reach people and give them some insight into my personality too, not more of my musings about science fiction. And that must be true because most of my traffic is focused on my personal take on things. So enjoy, and feel free to read about my thoughts, in any language, anytime.

THE BUREAU
On this day, on Earth, I had clocked out from work, and like some evenings, I had planned a visit with some neighbors.It wasn't long before a visiting woman quickly introduced herself and her husband. She questioned me at the onset, and very quickly "What do you do for work?
"I'm a writer and designer,” I replied. She immediately pointed to her husband - "he's the breadwinner," she said. "He used to work with "M" but then he went into "The Bureau".
The Bureau?" I asked.
"The Federal Bureau of Investigation" she explained airily.
I can't say I'd ever really met someone before...

The chief commander at Mars 1, This man is cool, confident and focused. He is a perfectionist with his health too. He indulges in healthy teas, and smokes "healthy" Vaporettes. On his temple he wears the mark of a dragon. I wrote him into my stories as a soldier, warrior, leader, and protector.
LOGAN LAMAAR
This is Logan, Lirren's son. With lightening skills in math and science, this child genius thinks of ways to save the planet and helps Mars too. But sometimes having good ideas that everyone wants can be a serious business—even a deadly one....
VLADIMIR ZALESSKI
He is a muli-layered character - a sort of Elon Musk type - of uncommon genius, but also rebellious and alienated from the world. In his own social pyramid, he has a dark side, including unpredictable, autocratic, obsessed and vengeful characteristics...
NEZ
This is Nez. A Navajo Indian involved with helping the Mars colony. With expertise for raising crops and warrior blood running through his veins, he's a man you can rely on for a harrowing E.V.A. battle at end of my 2nd book.
MCLEAN
Meet McLean - a journalist and intrepid reporter in my second book. He gets a little more involved in the reasons behind why so many people are going to a small Mars station than is usually recommended. But if theres a secret villainy to expose, or damsel in distress, he's your man. Too bad Matthias - an intelligence officer that keeps things under wraps there doesn't like him very much....
